About the estimates on this site

The calculator produces a genuine estimate from our actual rate card, not a placeholder or a lead-capture device. But it is calculated from measurements you supplied and it cannot see your yard. Access, slope, soil, roots, existing edging and what is under the sod all move the real number.

An estimate on this website is not a quote and is not a contract. A binding price comes from Shaden in writing after a site visit. That visit is free and carries no obligation.

Prices

Rates shown are current as of the date on the pricing page and may change. Hawaii General Excise Tax is shown separately where a total is displayed; on Oahu it is passed on at 4.712%, the maximum visible rate allowed.

Content

Every photograph on this site is of work we performed. The technical and local information here, covering soils, rainfall, grass species and sealer behavior, is offered in good faith from experience and published sources, and is general guidance rather than an engineering opinion about your specific property.

Concrete is a material that moves and can crack. We control where, through joint placement and base preparation. Nobody can honestly guarantee concrete that never cracks, and we do not.
